The moments that happen every day, until they don’t. It’s a gift to your future selves that will get more heart-breakingly valuable with every passing year.

Wait, it’s a whole day?

I can hear you thinking / worrying…. Have no fear, it’s actually ‘only’ 7 hours of your family’s day, ha!

It’s amazing how quickly both you and the kids get used to me and my camera being there and just ignore the giant englishman and all that clicking…

All you have to do is concentrate on each other and do the stuff you love to do together.

It’d be fun even without the photographs, but you’re going to get soooooooo many amazing precious pictures too. It’s a win win. ;)

This is so much more than a day. It’s a life.

The magic in these pictures grows exponentially as the years go by.

As I’ve said, a life is made up of moments - so is every day. We are often too busy with everyday life to fully appreciate them all as they happen. Clients have tried to tell me that their family’s lives are too ‘normal’ or ‘unremarkable’ to focus on for a day, but that’s just not true.

In the minutia of each day lies all of the magic pieces that make your family’s life the uniquely perfect entity it is.

In every day if we look closely enough, we can see the alchemy of life happening. We see it all — the challenges, the hestiency, the bravery, the growth, the failures, the victories, the confidence, the joy, the frustrations, the love, the support and yes, even the meltdowns!

Whoever said “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things.” was telling the truth…

It’s easy, you just have to do your usual stuff…

And I’ll capture everything in your real life as it happens.

Now, to be ‘real’ it doesn’t have to be a completely ‘regular day’. We can plan a bunch of your favourite routines and activities and stack them up to make a really fun yet totally authentic day. As long as it’s you, it’s real!

Previous Day In The Life Family Sessions have included pancake breakfasts, bike rides to the park, couch jumping, fort building, fave food spots, splashing through fountains, farmer’s markets, meeting up with friends and well deserved beers for Mom and Dad at the pub.

The world is your lobster, as my dear old dad used to say… A Day In The Life will only take one day, but you’ll treasure it for life.
